Hi, another newcomer here.

40 years, former Atari-ST user and die-hard DM/DM CBS/DM2 fan. Also EOB as well as Wizardry and Might and Magic (Although those are a bit different in terms of the engine/combat). Grimrock was also quite nice, but the original games where much better.

Cool, welcome to the forum :). I like the Might and Magic games too - I've played VI-VIII (the former is my favourite). And of course DM, the reason we're all here in this forum ;). Oh, there's also a Discord server although I'm not sure which thread has the link to it. I can always grab one if needed. It's a very quiet server but all the more reason to pop in and stir up some chat, eh? ;)

Thanks for your kind words!

Its already been a hearty welcome - not like on other boards.

It's great to see there are so many DM fans still around.

Is anybody here into DM Conflux?

I started it, but didn’t go on. I’m sure one of these days I will.
I think a some members are playing it. Sometimes the thread pops up in active topics, but not very often.

Very late 'hello' to you, Fhiz.

I'm currently playing Might and Magic 6 again.
Found the entire group (1-9) on GOG. Still a family favorite, along with DM.

Cool, yeah, that was my favourite of the three in the series that I played (even though they hadn't invented Arcomage yet ;)). I can remeber taking advantage of the exp and money exploits to get stupid amounts of everything, and then also discovering an exploit that apparently no-one knows about (I've never seen it mentioned anywhere ever) which allows any class to learn any spell (with the exception of Knights, who can never gain any mana so would get no use from this).
