Law & Order UK

Post by Sophia »

Anyone watch this?

I've liked the US-based L&O series so I thought I'd give this one a try-- it's not on over here but of course the Internet is good for things like that. It was interesting to see the L&O formula applied to a different justice system (the wigs! hehe!) but once I got over a few different terms it seemed all good. :D

Law and Order would be either science fiction or fantasy here. :(
Finally playing and immensely enjoying the awesome Thimbleweed Park-a-reno!

There was one season of Law & Order made in France set in Paris (but for some reason wasn't called L&O). I'm not sure if it's alive or dead. Six episodes (that's a full season!) all re-hashes of CI with Vicent Perez taking the lead role. I thought that they were really bad, but I don't like the US version either (huge fan of the orignal series). The only slight amusement I got out of it was an exchange something like the following:

"Do you have a warrent?"
"Madam, you watch too much television. This is France, not the United States!"
