Movie taglines

Post by Gambit37 »

Movie taglines but be funny, clever, inventive or simply awful. Share here your favourites or examples of dire taglining!

Here's a good first one for the new Clash of the Titans movie -- best to read the article I think!

I must admit, I really did think the Clash of the Titans tag line was a clunker. I mean it's an ok tag line for the movie poster as a teaser, because the film is generic enough (and now not as well known) that it basically goes 'watch this film; it's called clash of the titans' without saying it.

But to have it anywhere close to the darn title of the film - like the trailer did, havign the tag line right before the film name - is stupid. I wonder if the people who came up with the tag line as a teaser, thinking it a good combination of the film name but being enticing to a generation of peopolw qhgo have never seen the film were rolling in their chairs after the trailer people had their way.

If they are the same people, then they should be stoned!
