Is this still being coded? (DOTG)

Post by Chaos Awakes »

Is this project still under way?

This is the best clone I've seen to date in terms of looking like Dungeon Master (DM Java is the best in terms of looking like EOB, not a bad thing by the way!)
I fell off my chair when I saw this. Is there supposed to be no sound?

How's the project going?

Can somebody in the know move this post to the correct place - I was referring to the Damnation of the Gods clone.

Why does the "New Topic" button have to appear before the "Reply" button. I always press the wrong one.

sorry, don't have a way to merge topics, just split them apart for the moment!

but you are registered, so you can delete your own post after you copy and paste : )

Good point, well made :)
I'll do that in future. Not much point in doing it now cos the replies would still be here and not make much sense!!!

Sorry I havn't replied earlier, havn't browsed these forums in a while.

I am sorry to say I havn't been coding on Damnation of the Gods for quite some time, but perhaps I can have the time to get something done soon.

I am actually considering releasing the source so people can make their own variants...

Though, the source isn't very easily read though.

Anyways, thanks for your very kind words!

It doesn't matter if the source is hard to read - at least we have a starting point and deciphering code is half the fun :)
Finding time is the main problem, though....

Now you can download the source from
http://home.vxu.se/arodm01/game
(the download section).

You will need Visual C or MingW as compiler, and the Allegro Library to link with.
