RTC is made from scratch and has good potential. The main problem is, it's a standalone coding project so it grows too slowly... just like the other clones.
I must disagree here with you. I think that saying something is faster because of an open source development is a bit foolish.

I use both methods in working on DM2.5 So it takes a lot of time to work out some of the details carefully hidden in the game engine...
First of all, it's nice to see yet another ambitious clone project being
in the making, but here is the question of all questions:

Will DM2.5 be open sourced or not? We'd all really happy to see that
happen of course ;). Currently your homepage doesn't hint at it being
open sourced.

I'm asking because you're mentioning open source yourself above.

Please don't go off topic, questions about DM 2.5 should appear in the Clones forum. I've split your comment off to there.

Nobody cares because it's written in Pascal.

My project will be closed sourced - distributed as bloodware (donate blood to have it registered. It's a noble thing to do.).

I'm basing my code on DM/CSB routines although the prodcedures will be rewritten from scratch. I stated it somewhere that DM2.5 will be written in Delphi/Freepascal not C/C++. So I won't build it off existing code.[/quote]

Could you give us a direction to send the blood sacs to? Can we use the blood of other people? Even if they didn't volunteer? Could you remove these two big canins from your avatar? And the scarlet eyes?
