Yep you are right. The problem is I dont know many games where you have 4 players and its an FPS style game. I am mixing two diff game models and I am not sure if I can make the 'party' consume enough space whilst making it ok to walk around and pick stuff up. We will see .....

PS I will probably post back in a couple of years with a fix/update ;o)

New video showing the fireball test using deferred lighting. A new demo is coming out in the next couple of weeks or so.

New video with lens flares, smoke and an updated fireball. Looks a little better now. Still no explosion but I am working on it (looking at some pics from cows).

Too bad for me, can't see anything - I'm still using Win98. No chance to compile it with MSVC 6.0 too?

Its a video, I dont understand. If you are referring to the old demo then that works fine on win98, I did managed to test it on an older machine I had here. If you give me your machine specs I will confirm if they are ok to run it. You can email me with them if you like, dm@entombed.co.uk

The problem probably isn't the OS... it's just that most machines that are still running Win98 don't contain graphics cards that Entombed will work on. :P

Its not the os. You are right, it will be older hardware. But I thought he was having a problem viewing the video.

if he is, it would be because win 98 supports like windows media player 7.1 at best - if so use something like vlc to view the video

Yes beowuuf, probably that's it.
And because of the first post, I thought it's maybe more than a video.

Huh ? I think there is some confusion here. I released a new *video* recently, but there is a demo of the game which came out a few months back. Which one were you trying to play ?

New video - this time showing the 'burst' movement that people on here are banging on about :O) I did it ages ago and disabled it because I dont personally like it. See what you think. I am going to make it optional in the final release. I am also looking at maybe animating it more, so it feels more like real movement. Let me know.
