Notes:
This is my new dungeon for DSB.... Echoes of Chaos.

It's a pretty straight forward dungeon. No storyline or extra quests... Just find stuff, kill stuff, do some puzzles, and fuse Chaos. Simple!

The dungeon lua file is not included, so don't forget to set "Compile" to zero in the config file.

This dungeon cannot be completed on DSB 0.67 due to a bug in that version. It works fine in DSB 0.68 and later.

I am very surprised that no one (well I think no one due to lack of comments) is playing this dungeon. I play tested this for Sauman and can confirm that it is a great dungeon. This is not as large as his previous one so don't worry that it will take you weeks to play. Come on guys Saumun put a lot of work into this dungeon and I would like to see his efforts rewarded.

Just be aware that it cannot be completed with version 0.67, due to something introduced in that update.

ahh ok, so i havent got the boots, couldnt figure out the feet first riddle.

Been a while and I’m out at the moment, but if I remember right...

the boots are back on the first level, somewhere around the southwest corner. Easy to miss because the blocking hazes only deactivate after you unlock the nearby door (At least I think so. I’m struggling to remember clearly).

If you’ve unlocked any of the connecting stairway, you should be able to get back pretty quickly.

yes the grate, i could never find a key for it, maybe it has something to do with the invincible Skeleton.

Which version of DSB are you using?

I should refer you to the first post in this thread.
I made this dungeon with DSB0.66. Version 0.67 introduced a bug that makes it impossible to complete (which is why I asked Sophia to add that proviso in the first post). It was fixed in 0.68, so as long as you’re not using DSB0.67 you should be fine.

hmm possibly, if they re behind the Skeleton, then no.i donwloaded dsb just couple of days ago, so i assume i have the latest Version.

Unless the bug was reintroduced in the latest version, it should be fine.

The room of trolins is a short way southwest of the skeleton. Killing them all should open up a wall with a lever inside.
That opens a further wall to a place where you can turn off the haze of invincibility, making the skeleton killable (I think there is a skeleton key nearby also).

It’s this room that is broken if using DSB0.67, so I was wondering if the same problem has occurred in a later version.

ok, i just made it to the invincibility haze. theres afterwards only the place with the 3 hazes (locked door and boots right to it), and a 3x3 room which i cleared earlier but theres no Lever.

Edit i m also getting lua error.

Uh oh. Not sure what is going on. The latest version of DSB seems to be 0.68, which certainly worked for me and a couple of other players. Whether the same version has had an update, I don’t know.
I’ll need to contact Sophia to find out.

For now, could you send me your last save? (I’ll pm you the address).
I’ll be able to sort this out, maybe for tomorrow or possibly saturday morning.

DSB 0.68 is the latest version and is also the bugfixed version, so there shouldn't be an issue, at least there. But please feel free to let me know if there's some other problem with DSB (as opposed to with this dungeon specifically) and I'll look into it.

Sophia: Not sure what the problem is. I played and completed it with 0.68, as did Triax (I assume he was using that version).
If time allows tomorrow I’ll have a look using 0.68 again and let you know. Perhaps there is something else I overlooked.
