Glecko, even if the imp has been killed

I have just made it through the
Spoiler
worm killing room.
I love that puzzle room so much I went back a few times to enjoy it again! Now I am back in the
Spoiler
high priestess path area.
I am having difficulty figuring out what has changed. Where do I go next??

glecko says:
Spoiler
there is a bug!. try this. From the square next to the mana pad, drop a scroll, or probably anything on the floor next to the spikes. When you reverse gravity the item will fall on the pad. When you step on the pad POOF or CRASH.
Are you sure? I can't repeat this bug, it never happens...
Spoiler
In the Priestess area the aim is to find the sun orb and the Hierophant symbol solving two mind-scratching puzzles. After that you can enter the Hierophant palace.

I use windows xp run in parallel desktop in OSX . That may be why it happens as often as I want to make it. I also use xp from a separate hard drive when I launch my macpro into windows. Incredible flexibility. These macs are awesome!! 8 cores and now they offer a 12 core!! I think they are coming close to tearing a whole in the time/space continuum.

Well, I'm embarrassed. I just started this dungeon and can't even kill the first vexirk... I must be getting rusty in my old age. I need a tip to get started...!

Neither! I've read scrolls and been downstairs, but have no idea how to get that little fella out of his prison. I really must be going soft in my old age, and after reading how hard this dungeon is, if I can't solve the first puzzle, there's clearly no hope for me!

No, don't give it up! You'll get used to it! It's just a matter of time! Then you'll love it, that's granted! :)

The "vexirk" will free himself, actually. He just needs something special to do this. Try to explore everything, click everything, enter everything, do anything you can to find *it* for him.

(well, I've played the previous version, so I hope I remember it well and it's still the same)

Spoiler
It's a special "trident" called Hermit staff. Go to the lower level (with the worms) and use the lockpicks on the keyhole next to the teleporter there. Return upstairs and climb down the pit in front of the Hermit (vexirk). Turn around and - ta da!
I hope it works in your version.

I am still trying to figure out how to activate
Spoiler
the ladder
. I am on level -1 . I have the worm trapped on the
Spoiler
green pads
. I still have a black key that must work on a lock that I have gone by. This game is great!! Not TOO difficult, but a serious challenge!! It is mantally draining but the reward of solving is more than enough to keep my interest. But, some puzzles are harder than others. It is logical that we all have very different experiences as far as the length of time to solve each puzzle differs greatly. It would be interesting to count the keystrokes to determine an index of measurement. A contest would soon follow. I would finish last! I would have the highest number of kill/saves too! Back to my problem. I have spent 2 mornings trying to get past this point. I am about to start my third. Please can someone give some help, Thanx, Glecko, King of the Cheeze Empire.

Glecko, you can't activate the ladder from his floor. Go back and enter the next path, the Hierophant's palace. Make sure you have
Spoiler
the sun opal, the hierophant symbol and the Emperor's secret number. The latter is optional and can be read in the Empress room (but you can't enter that room...)

Indeed you can't use it, so go back to the central room and choose another way. You'll activate that ladder at the end of the path of the sun, but bevore must solve the hierophant palace.

I have made it to
Spoiler
thehierophants gate past the gate of 147
. I have only
Spoiler
1 black key.
It looks like I need 3. What is next?? The gate with the screamers is a head scratcher. Are there hint scrolls for this puzzle? the scrolls on the floor at the gate done seem to help much. Have I missed something? Help, please.

Glecko, are you in the room with 9 pads? If so you must
Spoiler
press the right pads and "draw" the hierophant symbol on the floor.
Obviously it's possible only using the reverse gravity spell.

Huh? where? My map does not tell me what is on the signs, so It can be difficult to tell what chamber you are speaking of. Can you be a little more descriptive? Thanks

I am stuck in the area
Spoiler
where the pits open behind you as you walk.
Is that part of a larger puzzle like
Spoiler
part of the puzzle with the blue wizrds eyes?
or is it a puzzle by itself? does the solution for the pit puzzle require solving something elsewhere first? This dungeon is another classic by Adamski. What is next?? I must admit, this dungeon wears me out more quickly. I need more breaks. I would like to see a dungeon that is not too busy with traps. I like to get immersed and stay for hours (or days). Like a book you can't put down. I could play TOC for hours at a time. Upside down is lots of fun, but I have to stop after each brain scratcher and recharge. Adamski, you are a genius!! I mean that! you must actually be a genius in the literal sense! what's that genius club? the Menstral Society or something?
Spoiler
(just kidding, I know that is not the name of it) its Mensa isn't it?

Thank you for "genius" :P , but I don't believe so. Surely who will be able to escape from this infernal mansion can be called genius.

That puzzle is a bonus, indipendent from any other part of the dungeon. Manage your steps and fall into the right pits...

I think "book" is the right word to describe next mini-dungeon, Underworld Dreams. I'm trying to create something really immersive, playable and surprising. Wait about a month...

Wait about a month??? you mean drool about a month. Like Pavlovs dog. Unfortunately, I occasionally write for deadlines and a month can be 3 or even 6 months. I will wait as long as it takes. Thanks for everything

I am stumped on both sides of
Spoiler
the area with the pits that open behind me.
Your clue should have been enough, but no. The other puzzle
Spoiler
Blue wizards eyes
is equally baffling. I have
Spoiler
killed all the eyeballs,
but I still can't
Spoiler
get the door opened with the key/table/spikes
And I have lost connection with the
Spoiler
2 iron keys and the world key.
In a commercial version of these games I would have a hint oracle with layers of hints that would become gradually more available , either by requesting more hints, or linking hints to answers to questions about the game or puzzle. I would also offer the player levels of difficulty. These games offer far more than most games currently available. Obviously an online version would be great. Can I give my application for hire?

The puzzle to enter the next chamber is shown on the map:
Spoiler

clue: try to put something on the 3 pads
The world key is accessible from the area near
Spoiler
the connection with the priestess path... do you remember the ladder you couldn't use?
Obviously an online version would be great. Can I give my application for hire?
I am not so sure that an online version could be doable, the main problem is the free time. Further this game isn't so intriguing to invest resources (time and money)... Next chapter will be more suitable, I'll engage as betatester if you want ;)

Am wonder what is reason to make game with puzzles which nobody can solve? I made progress in ToC mostly by try everything on everything, because logic thinking was no method to solve them (too much crazy concepts)
