Yes. 8)

From what I found so far, I was sure of this.
This dungeon is perfectly logical..... :D

Now, I have found all hidden Ra keys. Nice quests, great puzzles.
I reached the "Control room".
Yesterday there was dragon steak on the menu, a happy meal from days on worm slices.

Forgive me about the vagueness of some of my posts. This is because I do not want to spoil this very good game.

OK decided to have another go at the Time Switches level. Can someone tell me how many switches there actually are and how long I have to press them all. I assume that if I press them in the time allowed that all the doors will open. Is there a easy route to save time?

Watch at a swiitch when you push it. You'll see it pulls back some time later.

This tells you how long it stays on.
There is a door with two red switches near by. It will open when both are on, then close when one goes off.

I have reached this door.

It has eight alcoves, on the center pillar it is written: riddle.

The door has no lock.
There is a message next to each alcove.
1_hope and fears.
2_cover two dreams.
3_your future.
4_triangle.
5_forward of you.
6_light.
7_waste of power.
8_dungeon exist but no treasure. fountain exist but no water.

I found 2 and 3.
Any idea about the other ones ?

3 door don't open at the same time.

I'm surprised that you can get all RA keys without hint. :shock:
Visiting every places and making maps that shows all you can access is a great helper.
I found the last two Ra keys pretty difficult.
One of them is in a place I did not have on my maps. Because it was the only un-mapped area, the Ra Key had to be there.
The second part of the teleporter maze is pretty difficult. Impossible by going randomly but there is a way to solve it.
I was ready for nastier tricks.
For instance, a key that you cannot directly access because of hidden teleporters, only accessible from above climbing down a pit.
In CSB you have places only accessible from above with a pit. The prison or death row in CSB.
As I said before. Your dungeon is very logical. I think we share the same logic. :wink:

Time Switches

I have now opened the door by the red switches and got the key and scroll. I have also got the Master Key from the other location. I am now at the 3? blue switches which when I press all of them don't appear to do anything as I can't hear a door opening or closing and the same with the 2? green switches.

You tried the right way.

The 3 blues should open a door.
The 2 greens should open another door.
Do them in the right order, less moves as possible.
First green far from the door, second green at the door.

Just opened the green door terkio. The 3 blues are getting me. Is it best to leave the switch by the door until last?

Can't seem to get the blue doors done, not even getting close. Any volunteers to play my save game and get me inside the last door so that I can progress.

Better still anyone got a save game just inside that door that they could email me - thanks. PM me and I will send you my email address.

Wich Dungeon Master item(s) fit with these riddles ?
1_hope and fears.

Three more to go.
I am afraid those ( 5, 6 and 7 ) are useless items I dumped some..... place. :mrgreen:

At 6 I tried a torch and a Ful spell. No luck.
At 5 I tried an helmet. No luck. I do not have a skull.

On the Chaos level there is a room full of Oitu. Is it necessary to enter this room and is it possible to kill them as they seem to be regenerating. Just down from there is 2 pressure plates one of which operates a door. How do I gfet the door to stay open long enough to get through it.

Ouch, I wonder about a small room at the chaos level.
It is near the fountain.
The room is 5 squares, there is a teleporter inside.
Is there an access to this room ?
No way from above, there is no pit to climb down into this room.
I tried the moving teleporters in the "mad" room. No luck.
Should I care about this mysterious room ?
I would not be surprised to find later a power gem in this room. :wink:

Not necessary, but worthwhile. I used brute force. Kill, step forward immediately, again and again.
The two pressure pads, they both operate the door. It is not a timed puzzle. The door closes immediately.
Use logic.

News from the riddle room.
I have all the answers but one.

What could be the answer in the alcove for
_light

I tried a torch a flamit a fury a Fire bomb a Zokatra an Illuminet
I tried casting at the alcove a Ful a Ho Ir Ra. No luck.

Any idea ?

Could that be an equipped firestaff ? I have the staff but not found the power gem.

Indeed, exacly as in the original DM.
I remember in DM there is an alcove that open a door with a corbamite. It looks the same as a ZoKatra wich does not work in the alcove. The corbamite does work, one gets it killing a Verick.
Is my remembering about the original DM right ?

In "dungeons matter" I do not have a corbamite, may I'll find one later.

I am on the zoom level and have got through to the room with the black flame in the middle. There is a door at one end that requires a green key. I can see 2 switches on the wall but can't work out how to get near enough to them to trigger them.

Okay managed to get the green key. Do I need to hit the very small button on the wall to stop the zoom or can I try and insert the key in the lock first?

Zooms do not stop.
It is worth pushing the tiny switch. The main thing is to shove the key in the lock.
