Crown of kings sounds like a fairly used term in multiple fantasy games and books - on the second you could be quite right. ;o)

Conflux - the meeting of streams/paths

So maybe there will be some interesting meetings of various things, not just a reference to the different paths the characters can take joining together : )
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!

Some questions about quests - POSSIBLE SPOILERS!

Post by iUSTINE »

Hi !

Great dungeon, thank you very much for this one. I have some questions:
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

.
1) Mothers in egg chamber - these 2 (weren't that scorpions?) in the room full of eggs that appears after stepping in 'cave's with egg inside - are these mothers you write of ?
2. Survive the Trial - is this assuming killing all that $@%$@ creatures or
simply 'proper choice' of objects in chest?
3) Meet lich - does it mean get to his lair and/or kill his body - not a 'spirit' ?

OK, that's all. I managed to get all main quests and about half of subquests, but still remains some more. Especially these connected to Dwarfs, but I need to have some breaks from time to time because my brain is boiling.

Thanks again. Take care.
All in the golden afternoon,
Full leisurely we glide...

Hi!

1) Yes
2. "simply 'proper choice' of objects in chest" and solving the next riddle (you'll get a certificate of innocence)
3) No, just meet it, being in front of it, is enough.

Well, I found this Hell Hound ;). I think I will start running a factory of these ;). I know also where is the last piece of dragon armour - so I need only to restart and do this quest - but it will take me some time. Anyway, I go to sleep now. Sleep...

ok, lets do a check before send my saved game:

1)The Dwarven Treasure its this "Stuff" used to acces one of the fighters guild found in the dwarves forges?

2) free the prisoneer of the treator its this "character" beging for freedom at the circus level?

3) This council its those guys who surronded you at the trial? or are they those who are behind RA key doors?

Thanks...

1) nope,. that's not the dwarf treasure, that's just nice stuff. you'll know if you get it, there is a scroll saying 'this is our treasure'

2) nope, freeing the traitor is a major quest - if you are there, then the game ends. you need to send in the saved game at the stairs just before this happens for a record entry, or at least be able to walk down those stairs unimpeded in the saved game you submit for quest points

3) the council is indeed the guys behind the RA door (well, it's also partly the guys who surround you for the trial too, but you never face them directly) Again, this is a major quest - to have completed killing the council, you should be in the position of being able to walk down the stairs to the endgame section, i think

so there you go : )

Hummm, im not completly sure how the game ends, I did a part where the game ends it with Gotmogh  , but not sure if this its the end, same happens with Halk in a "bad ending" I think, those are the game ends? :?:

yup, game endings - there will be some fun text in game, then the game will physically end, displaying the finishing stats of your team and a 'The End'

so obviously, you can do multiple 'endings' as long as you don't walk onto the square that triggers the end of game event. Don't go out the window with the crown of kings, don't go downstairs to meet the freed prisoner, etc

For a record you obviously submit one square before the end of game pad, for just quest points it would be nice to have saved games for each area so the points can be quickly added, rather than the judge having to walk all around your saved game to ensure each quest is truely finished (some are easy such as if you have the crown of kings, you've done that area, others are less obvious to check such as the prisoner or the future machine, someone would have to go and make sure all the final freeing has been done, etc)
