[vi] pronounced in French actually means penis (writen "vis")
Adding "ew" after it was just out of habbit. Everything Paul has said for years was followed by some "ew!" by the others.
(Or was it Trantor?)

Help Newbie

Post by wvlr »

OK, from reading all the other posts in this thread I already know that I am Dense.

How do you get past the second door on the Prison Level? I know that the coin at the cross opens the way to the stairs down. But I can't find enough Food and NO WATER so I am hoping that there is some of that beyond that other door.

Otherwise, How do I get past the 1st door on the Vault level.

Yes, I must be that bad because I can't get past either. It does not bode well.

Dehydration seems to follow me like a thirsty dungeoneer...

The cross opens many paths.

Thanks, but I already tried every object that I have - even bones/the club/and even food. Did I miss something? I'm sure I searched every inch. But obviously I missed something.

The only thing that I can think of is that there must be something that I need behind the first LOCKED door on the HoC level. I never could get that door open and thought it was something that could not be done. I tried hitting it with the club/fireballs and Zo spells but had no luck. Nothing seems to work in the "slot" just outside the door either.

Stop playing DM2 and play this instead, it's much better if you ask me! :D

Still trying......Nothing I have works in the cross - just the neckless and Coin.

So - I started a new game and pounded the door in the HoC with the Club and fireballs and Zo spells until everyone died - several times. Still no good.

What do I need to open that darn HoC door? I have looked at every wall many times for a button or hollow walls.

I know that I must be dense but I am getting no where in this dungeon.

Hmmmm. Maybe this is all just a plot so you can all have a good laugh at someone trying to get through puzzels that have no solution???  :P

Still getting nowhere. Before I give up on this one and try one of the others. Could someone Please tell me how to get through the closed door on the HoC level?

& what besides the Cross Neckless and silver coin works in the cross to open the 3rd door on the proison level. And where is it located because I have tapped on every wall (many times) on every level and only found one one fake wall to the Club which I found on my first time through.

Maybe the Problem is that I seem to be on ToC 3.0 instead of 3.1. I put the 3.1 files in this directory but when I bring it up it says 3.0.

That's a possibility...

Which door is it you're having so much trouble with?

As far as I can tell, there's 2 doors on that level, 1 right inside the hall of champions area, and the other is back near the entrance, down another hallway.

Thanks for responding -

I gave up on "Towers" and am now playing the ConfluxIII.

But I still would love to know what I did wrong in "Towers".

The two doors that I had problems with are:

1. The one in the HoC area. Not the one at the entrance.

2. The second door was on the prison level. The Cross neckless opened the first door and the coin opens the second door, but there was a third door at the end of the Hall past the prison that I never could open.

Nice dungeon, but im stuck :D i cant find a way to open the surgical precicion, and some doors. 1st door in the room with entrance to wild woods, other inside the wild woods.

i'v found 1 skeleton key this far.

i have garnet key, master key and jade key, but none of those works in any of the locks.
Only way for a lone wizard to carry a full suit of darc armour and some chests seems to be a chest full of KU-Potions. =)

The third object is close by - down some stairs in a secret area.

The other door is most likely the entrance door to the dungeon!

Anyone who knows what to do with the "eye" where the text beside it is "surgical precision"?

You need an object to operate on the eye.

FIrst of all, I really like your Dungeon Paul, remindes me of DM2 in a way..
I do understand that I need a object, but what object? You don't have to say exactly what to do, but a clue on where to find it would be nice ;)

Heh, 'operate' was the key word.

Think of a sharp surgical instrument. You may not have found it yet (it is in the start of the tower)
