I thought the exact number of demons in hell was 5384932840 adamo?

I feel I've been neglecting DM of late, and especially these forums :(
My dungeon is sitting on my HD gathering dust, I really want to finish it but with everything going off atm, it might be a while. For starters I'm coding an entire game from scratch

I'll get round to doing it eventually! Promise...

Just a short update, I started rebuilding my dungeon (Sword of Destiny, I posted a demo in CSBWin a few months ago) in RTC. I haven't made much progress yet, but the DM2 graphics certainly add a lot to the atmosphere. I wonder how long my motivation for dungeon-building will last this time.

Let us know how you find the difference between the two editors. Sometime in the next decade I'd like to have a go creating a dungeon with one of them.

I believe it is easier to implement new graphics and items in RTC - meaning I never tried to do so in CSBuild. Triggers and stuff do work a bit differently, and I found RTC to be a bit counter-intuitive in some ways, but I suppose that was because I was already used to CSBuild. However, I think I can't really comment on this since I never got into the more complicated stuff like relays, and/or gates and so on, all I do is basically T&A (that's teleporters and apples).

I am creating the dungeon in RTC now.
My target is to draw out a lot of mechanics of RTC.
A game system variegated is made by handling the mechanic of all RTC.
Therefore, it is likely to become a dungeon with a complex mechanic.
Such a dungeon might be not necessarily interesting. but I like to create the dungeon like that :)

The first floor corresponding was still only completed in my dungeon.
However, the text file exceeds 400kb.
It is expected that it has the text file of at least 3MB or more when
the dungeon is completed.
It will be able to be said that it is a dungeon with a complex mechanic enough :D

However, it very has a hard time preparing graphic because I do not have the technology that draws graphic at all.
It also has a hard time also in what writes sentences as it and everyone know :P

I patiently make it though long time still hangs in completion.
But it is thought that it will open the demo version to the public to maintain motivation in a few days.

It was an advertisement for the commemoration of 100posts.
Please forgive poor English.

Sounds good Tonari! I feel a bit like teasing as well, I rebuilt my dungeon of which I posted a CSBWin demo a few months ago in RTC new from scratch. I am now roughly as far as I was in that demo and have to say I am quite pleased. I use the DM2 graphics for the different locations, added some nice background music and reworked a lot of the puzzles so they make more sense now (in my opinion at least). It's still a bit intimidating that I want this to be the prologue of a much bigger adventure, though; I really have a lot of work to do until the dungeon will be finished.

Stopped here as well. RL currently takes a lot of time, with a new job and maybe a new girlfriend. I barely even have time to read the forum, let alone work on a dungeon.

I'm sure you all remember my last dungeon, generically called Traps and Monsters. And those who got past the giggler flood at the very beginning will remember that it had clever puzzles but was too short. Well, I'm on to another dungeon, and have some time this Summer to whip out some of the ideas I've got in my DM file.

Interestingly, I came across a problem with CSBuild that seized one of my puzzles by the hair, and haven't gotten an answer to my post in the CSBuild Threads yet. Go answer it now and I'll throw your name in the plot at that puzzle, at your request! *

It's terrifying that the last post in this thread was made 16 months ago. Are we really that lazy in dungeon-developing?

Anyway, I resumed working on my dungeon and still plan to release it by Christmas. That might be a bit too optimistic, though, but I'd really like to keep that deadline, if only to finally finish this thing. So, I beg you to kick me (verbally!) to get this stuff going!

As you could probably tell from my posts in the RTC forum, I'm using that one. I started out in CSBWin, but switched to RTC because I wanted to use the DM2 wallsets, add music and have larger levels. Using CSBWin for this was just too complicated for my limited brain.

I am starting a horror/dark comedy based dungeon.

Think things that go bump in the night, only psychopathic,18+, totally evil and scary versions :P

Look at The Suffering for a few horror ideas (A FirstPersonShooter in the horror genre).

...and even meet some familiar faces.

Silly question -> what happens when you fall down a pit and land on a table!
I take it having 1 Health point means that Herr Burninator will never get chosen.
I like the idea of having the champions add a little commentary to their surroundings.

About the pit/table thing: Just try it out! I did think of that and added a little something for that case. (You could also say that it's deliberate that a table is under a pit.)
It's true that I'm a wimp right now, that's just because I didn't get round to giving the champions proper stats yet. I'll first do some playtesting once the thing is ready and adjust the stats of the heroes then.
And thanks for the comment! :D
