Lord Chaos teleportation
If Lord Chaos doesn't like where he is, or you're trying to fuse him without fluxcages or whatnot, he'll frequently teleport away. Apparently, though, DSB-DM is currently almost unsolvable because LC is way too eager to teleport and tends to get out of almost every situation, including (what seems to be) situations that would result in a successful fuse in regular DM. Does anyone know the rules governing when teleporting will and won't happen?

Re: Lord Chaos teleportation
I did not think of it as 'teleport'.
My memory says that he will jump
two squares in any of the four primary
compass directions except that he
cannot pass a wall or a fluxcage.
Very dim memory, however.

Re: Lord Chaos teleportation
so would that mean that
Lord Chaos has regularly many
different places(squares) to go?
how does he choose? random?
all eligible spots in succession and
the first one to pick?
It would help to know all that in
order to decide how it should
be. (from a players perspective)
To me from memory
Lord Chaos, if he "teleported" or
moved 2 squares (I would call that
"supermove") he did not retaliate,
but more or less wandered away,
much like the fear effect
(so that you had to search
for him). Feels like invisibility a bit,
or blink in and blink out of reality.
ok, hope this input is of some use.

Re: Lord Chaos teleportation
I have just looked into this as i have a game saved at this point and i found that;
When performing fuse whilst Lord Chaos is surrounded by three walls or Fluxcages and your party, he disappears! Then when you turn to look for him he re-appears behind you, so it does seem like he turns invisible. Obviously however, if your party's space is Fluxcaged Lord Chaos cannot do this!
Whilst i was looking into this i also found that Lord Chaos' fear of War Cry wears off, for a short period, after prolonged use!

Revolutionary Greetings!

Re: Lord Chaos teleportation
Thank you all for the information.
I've hopefully fixed DSB so he's not quite so slippery.
