Recommend playing them in order as they are a linked story. They are point and click, but with some of the most amazing writing and visuals ive seen on a flash game. I played a little of the first one. In the bedroom where you find the safe behind the picture, whenever you return to the room, the picture is back on the wall. This is a dumb detail that spoils the mood and makes me wonder what other problems the game has.

I played the first. I found it extremely linear. Some doors are unlocked once an arbitrary, non-related event happens. Though there are efforts put into the story and ambiance, there are none into gameplay.
