Weird forum graphics

Post by Jan »

Has anyone else noticed weird behaviour of the forum graphics recently? I'm using ProScreamer 2 (and Firefox 9.0) and strange things have been happening for the last couple of days - background changing from grey to white on some screens, text and icons totally misplaced / scattered. Some screens looked quite alright but some were confused. Is it just me or my computer or Firefox or were there any issues with the forums / ProScreamer?

(ATM the forums look normal again)

No idea about latest Firefox -- I can't kepe up with their releases and stuff is being regularly broken by Mozilla. Have you tried a different browser? It looks fine for me in Google Chrome.

Must be your fancy preview copy of Firefox 9.0. :D I am using 3.6 and no problems.

Yeah, I'm running 8.0, so can't help.

I did notice the forum wouldn't load I think yesterday lunchtime. So unless it's going slow and timing out when you are trying to load it?

It's fine now. If this happens next time (I hope it won't) I'll make a screenshot and send it to anyone who'd be interested.

:( I didn't want it. But that stupid IT guy from our department installed it anyway when I was away for a bee... LUNCH.

It took me ages to figure out how to finish that word starting with bee... I am getting slow and old. On a related topic I am going for "lunch" in a few minutes now.

To get it back on topic before Trantor gets banned again I have found the site a bit slower too, occasionally it will not load. And a couple of times it said "cannot connect, too many users" (I am paraphrasing here, the actual error message was more technical) and I had to come back later.

Yes, it took me way too long to add the 'r' there too!
