I might buy it twice - you're right, it's too cheap! Though I'm technically unemployed right now, so I'll wait for an upturn in my funds :-)

I've not had much time on my hands of late, and like a few people in this thread, Legend of Grimrock has passed me by - It's only by chance that I saw it in a mailshot from GOG.com. Just pre-ordered it and I can't wait!

Ooh yaaaay, pre-orders :D. Yoink!

Edit - Okay, I've now done the preorder thing (direct to the makers, not the GoG one), and been through all of the goodies except the manual - I've got the music playing as I write this and I think it's cool - look forward to hearing more ;). All the other stuff is cool - so who's who in the photo, Petri? ;)

I Just watched a gameplay trailer for this game, and it looks really good.

Do you need a high powered PC to play it though?
Romero and Carmack NEED to re-group.Modern gaming needs to be saved from the greedy bastards who are ruining it all.

Pre-ordered, wish there was a way to offset the Paypal costs by paying more, since there's already a preorder discount going on there!

I just bought two copies, one for my brother and myself. My dad will probably play as well, he's the one who owned DM2 when I was growing up after all :P

Some months far from the DM World here and what I see when I come back (and also on RockPaperShotgun...)? A true successor of DM ready to be bought?? A really exciting DM successor in full HD, where every bit seems to be at the right place?
This evening is the best moment of my day... of my week... well, month?
Sincerely, I congratulate Almost Human for what will be a pure moment of joy!
And you can/will have my money right now: pre-order will be done just after this message for sure.
Go on with sequels, DLC, mods, whatever! Where can I find a physical worn cloth game map? I want one!
Can't wait to extract assets and modify map by hand with hexa editor :)

Regards,
GreatStone.

I haven't followed this thread / LoG in general for some time - and - wow! It looks absolutely impressive! Superb graphics and traditional scary feeling. Well done! :P The icons and inventory and items and so on would probably be too small for me but meh I need new glasses anyway.

I only wonder what are the people today going to think about the tile-based movement?

And I even liked that guy's commentaries on the video.
Finally playing and immensely enjoying the awesome Thimbleweed Park-a-reno!

Love that it seems to be getting some love on GOG.com, seems to be pretty prominent. Maybe take advantage of the free fallout offer happening this weekend at GOG.com to put your name out somehow? :)

I watch the video (very cool!) and read some of the comments underneath. Before I got bored with the stupid idiots flaming each other and trolling and stuff, I noticed a few people complaining about the tile-based movement and the combat system. You can tell who's not come across DM and its ilk beforehand, can't you? ;)

LOL, the first comment is "Who else read it as "Legend of Grimlock"?" Deja vu? :)

Alright, I'm just struggling to come up with anything new to say so I'll shut up and go to bed.

Seriously, I would swear to you despite obvious it is that it saws Grimrock, and that it makes sense for a dungeon name to be Grimrock....

My mom actually asked me "What's this Grimlock thing about?" because she saw me telling my brother on Facebook to check his inbox for his gift code I sent him.

What is Grimlock, is this an actual thing I'm not aware of or is this just a long-running, worldwide coincidence?

Broadly speaking, I think Paul Stevens should start working on LoGWin and LoGBuild.

Oh my goodness, LoG has made it on to Mashable! That should get it some serious attention!

The more the better, but it's been posted about a few times on reddit (yuck, lol) and threads are constantly popping up every couple days or so on a certain large anonymous imageboard so the word's definitely out there, I'm not sure if there are many people who'd be interested who don't know about it at this point

I can't wait myself, it does mean that my DM playthrough will be paused for a while. :)

Yay! A 9.5 on Destructoid! I had been tempted to throw a tweet at the reviews editor asking if LoG was going to be covered. Nice to see it was!

Seems like there's lots of cool buzz now building for tomorrow's release! Woohoo!

Aawww omg what time zone is this thing working on, lol - I just went to try and download it (9:45am my time) and it says on Steam that it won't be ready for about another nine hours! Dammit, I wanted to DL it now so I could have a go at it this evening, waaah :(. Oh well, looks like I'll have to wait till I get home from work then...

Yeah same for me, 17:00 UTC, I finish work at 4:30pm UTC and shall arrive home at approximately 5pm UTC, I'd say this is timed mostly to perfection!

6 and a half hours to go! :D
