Keys

Post by MasterWuuf »

As in Skeleton and Winged.

I've read many posts. I've even looked at the hints and maps.

Ah, those lockpicks should just unlock everything. Now THAT would solve a lot of my problems.

The skeleton key is randomly distributed by a giggler, so you need to luck finding it I'm afraid!

I wish I understood your question, MasterWuuf.

The Winged Key is in the

large Couatl Room, in the alcove in the central pillar

So there's really only one skeleton key, right?

I've killed a number of Gigglers. So far, no luck finding the one with the key.
Any chance this Giggler would always be near a specific place, or is his position totally random?

Thanks for the help.

P.S. Jan: The Couatl Room is where you prove you're a wizard, right?

Yes, there's only ONE skeleton key. But you don't really need it, it's only used to open connections of different parts of the dungeon, nothing vital.

You can read about the gigglers and random item positions here: http://dmweb.free.fr/?q=node/129

("Although the items are randomly placed, the items themselves are predefined, as well as their possible final locations. There are 22 sets of items (14 are possessed by Gigglers at the beginning) to randomly place at 24 locations.")

Just remembered seeing the winged key in the past. It's in the ABC-button alcove area, isn't it?
How on earth did I manage to get it before?
False pits, another way this game messes with ones mind. (waah)
