KU - no fireballs

KU - no fireballs

Hello,

I was playing return to chaos CSB a while back, and in the no fireballs section of KU i noticed something very strange (but useful!), i was wondering if anyone else has encountered this, or maybe it's a bug...?

Off one side of the main no fireballs room there is the bit with an iron grate door and 3 buttons. I found that if you stand in the square next to the left hand button (as you enter this area) (where vexirk #21 is on the map of level 8) then any monsters that come along will wander around for a while and then will teleport onto the same square as you're standing on, thus killing themselves. I found this very useful for killing all the vexirks and deth knights that are in the coming rooms!

Has anyone else every found this?

I never go there anymore because I am engaged in this business
of winning the game as quickly as possible. But I remember those
#@!*@ Vexirks. I will have to try this. I can't think of any other
places in the game where monsters teleport. Except for the Gigglers
that randomize the game. And I have heard that Lord Chaos can
teleport but I don't know where, when, or how.

This trick does not work in the original versions of the game nor in CSBwin.
When a creature is teleported on the square where the party stands (or another creature), the creature is not killed, it will just 'wait' and will appear on the square as soon as the party leaves.
