You finished it, very good Saumun. I think you showed me a bit of this, been so long I just can't recall. Will check it out in the future, DM is my favorite first person game.

Yeah, you helped me playtest part 1 and I sent you the very beginning of part 2.
Some small fixes and changes have been made to both parts since.
If you get around to playing part 2, you need a save from the end of part 1... but if you no longer have it, just let me know.

I started playing this dungeon in the work in free moments. I missing something obvious cant find second key to Guard tower. I got map and able to go down through hole to Ku and Ros part of dungeon and finished Ros i think. Would be nice if somone direct me where are keys both (cuz i not remember where i got one) to guard tower.

For the other, look to the south of Naerza's house, below ground. You need to find ice and bring something to melt it.

yes with torch i think, if he dropped key so probably this is on i got (i dont remember where i got one key so far), but for second one any more specific tip i searched trees near and in lumber yard.
One more any tips where find mind spell for one knight in dungeon?

The mind control spell is below the guard tower, but you can’t get to it until you complete the tower because you need a certain key.

Hi Saumun

A Master level game so far

Enjoying the game a bit like TOC...

So far have completed the Guard tower, ROS & KU sections of the Temple, Bellande House Basement and level 2 and have got access to the 3rd level, and all the Red Sewers.

Presently have 20 Runes only missing (Power) Mon, (3rd tier) Ros, Neta, & Sar

Have found 10 Treasures out of 30 and 53 % percent finished.

I Am stuck I think I should solve the 8 floor button puzzle on level - 1 South West areas next but the answer has eluded me
have solved the outer 4 button puzzle and opened the 4 passages to the inner 4 floor buttons

and the passage to the map which proves there is a passage to the hole on the middle
MY problem is I don't understand this puzzle have tried everything including the order of which I press the inner buttons (24) possibilities
and there is no mail to help me in this puzzle.

The other areas I cannot yet enter is the 2nd house the one with the broken sign on the wall next to the door

I greatly suspect the rest of the sign is the key
And cannot use the ladders to the Temple level 4th level locks on the wall and no key
the up ladder is down and the down ladder is up (Ha Ha)

Could you please provide me with some [Mail] as to what I have to do next

Old part 2 saves won’t work because it was from a partially built dungeon I sent you, but if your part 1 save is from the very end (after putting Naerza back in the mirror and resurrecting him from another), then that can be imported into part 2 (the new version).

HI Saumun

Have immensely enjoyed the game so far but..
Am stuck again QUACK

I am stuck behind a gate in the Inverse Reality (much like someone in the news these days)
hoping that I can journey further on as per the scrolls found near the entrance to this area

and what appears to be a teleport just past the gate (Seen thru the hedges using the see thru wall spell)
Having great difficulty understanding the hint on the scroll south of the gate that I cannot open

1 + 2 = 3 and the 3 (0)

do the 0 change to a number when you have solved each piece of the puzzle ?

The only thing in that part of the game is 3 Apples but have tried collecting, eating and leaving them etc...

Have tried every combination of the gate switches I can think of to no avail

Have found the Teleport spell in the keep but its only 1 part of a 2 part spell
What am I missing as I have visited the keep and the scrolls found there seem to indicate

I must find all 4 keys to continue in the keep and to do that I must travel to other area's

And the one key I found in the flying chest does not work yet
Hopefully you can provide some additional hints as to what I have missed or not understood so far

The “O” on the scroll...

is the letter O, not a zero. It signifies “Open”, So gate 3 will open when both 1 & 2 are open together.

Hi Saumun

Thank you for the prompt response.

Only read the first spoiler which refers to the Math Scroll
(Only read the first spoiler as I always prefer to solve the games puzzles before being given the solution.)

Simple story on how I finally solved this puzzle after many tries.

Went back to the game and tried all the combinations of gates to see if anything changed on the math scroll.
Still thinking / hoping the math scroll was the answer to this puzzle due to finding it at the start of the unsolved puzzle.

Unfortunately the math scroll did not record any change in the gates and I now suspected that its use is in the next part in the game.
So I now realized that the math scroll did not provide the solution to this puzzle and had not missed anything at this point.

I left the game for a few minutes while I again though about this frustrating puzzle.
I had a new idea it seemed most natural to me that the solution should be in the two gates prior to the closed gate.

My new idea was since the gates where un-synchronized i.e. one open, one closed was it possible to Synchronize the gates
and maybe if the two where open at once then the last gate would too.
Gave it a try, so I stood between the gates as it closed hoping it might change state.
Guess what it did not open and that was not the solution.

Had another idea try using the open spell on all four sides of the un-synchronized gates again hoping to synchronized them.
I had already tried the open spell on the third gate so I ignored it.
SHAZAM... the gate I cast the spell on did not open but something did. SOLVED...
To finish (the reason for this story) if you make another version of the game might I humbly suggest moving the location
of the math spell to after the three gate puzzle as it did confuse me on the solution of this puzzle

I Finally understood you math scroll (it came to me in the middle of the night)

QUACK!!

Stuck again...
Don't like asking for help (As I feel I should be able to solve the puzzles, Riddles, trap, etc...)

But the third ingredient for the Potion (A Shard of Night)??
Could I get a few hints as to what I am looking for (Animal, Mineral, Vegetable, etc...)
All the other ingredients to the riddles are clear

This one has me stumped as I don't remember anything in the game like the riddle...
And as the amount of time between starting the game and where I am now
I am starting to forget a lot of what has come before

Many Thanks' for this great game

it refers to a weapon you should have found earlier, and if you used it for it’s true purpose you should no longer have it... but it’s still in the dungeon.

i come to a part that i am wondering if it is a bug ? in the ros dungeon (very nice eye of the beholder 1 graphics) it starts with a traditional dungeonmaster puzzle with forcefields and timing to pass.. on the end quick a fakewall in to avoid the fireballs.. then i came in a room with a blocked pressurepad and a dead forcefield in 2 corners.. ?? in the ku part i thinkk there is also a sort of bug also an old dungeonmaster trick to lure a enemy with a warcry or the horn of fear to a room with also a preassure plate but the enemy (animated armour dont fit throug the door and doing a sequence before the door.. he is easy to kill and whebn you do that another one came quick. but also the same problem.. i hope anebody reading this in 2021

After the fireballs, the southern floor pad should open up a series of blue hazes. You must reach the other pad without stepping out of the hazes, and it is timed. If the hazes disappear before you get to the other pad, or if you step outside the hazes, you must start again.

In the two rooms with the knights, you must get them into the smaller rooms in different ways.
On the southern side, you must get the knight to follow you into the small room. It seems like you’ll be trapped and have to fight him, but fake walls open up allowing you to escape and trap the knight.
On the northern side, you need the mind control spell to get the knight into the small room... so the guard tower must be completed first to get the spell.

i wonder where the gold key is to the sleepyroom in the tower. i see something gold with a staff on it on the wall by the main switch.. i cannot get out the tower. but is the key outside the tower? or must i try to kill the guards ??

but in that room i see only a room with a strange message this room is perfect but perfect for what?? i cannot opens the other door and pull the lever.

the rooms with the guards who left a katana a shank and a scroll with the levers? (strange if i play the tower over again i see that guard sending some minions but i cannot get into the room with the green button..i throw a stone to hem and he comes to me and i can kill him and he left the bscroll but i cannot go into the room.

I don’t know why you couldn’t get into the room where minions spawn. Must be a bug of some kind.

... you need to get cause something to get them out of their mess room, so you can get into it and find a key. Turning off their water supply would do it. A leak maybe? Don’t let them catch you though. Find somewhere to hide.

The item on the wall near the mains switch is a secret. You don’t need it, and can only get it later.
