new monster has only 1 HP

I would like to use a WALLITEM ACTION to ACTION_CREATE_NEW_ON_FLOOR a monster which has basix health 30.
The monster gets created, but has only 1HP. Even if I set the STRENGTH in the WALLITEM ACTION, it stays the same.
What do I need to do to get a monster with higher HP?
What are the bells that never ring? Enchanting smell, beautiful thing.
What are the lions that never roar? The wind blows their children far over the shore.
What are the gloves not worn by the hand? But worn by the foxes throughout the land.

The "Action" strength doesn't correspond to the hp.
Try experimenting with the action value. Set it to something like 100 or 200, and work from there via testing.
It's annoying, but it should work (hopefully).

setting it to 200 helped, the monster has now more than 1 HP. I did not yet determine how many, but at least more than 1 :)
I will need to test a little bit to adjust the value, but the clue helded.

It is a bit annoying to have to repeatedly test, and take guesses for the action strength.
You could have the monster teleport on and off a damage square set to damage health by 1, to see how many teleports it takes to kill, then adjust accordingly.

I had the same problem, it appears random hp, not exact for some reason
keep your gor coin handy
