apart from the Dm kit with the quake 2 engine, is there any project about a total remake of Dm

I'd like to know that too, I've been looking on the net for any shareware game creation system that is suited for writing a first person, tile based RPG like Dm or CSB, Eye of the Beholder etc. All that I've found so far are stacks of systems suitable to write Ultima style games etc. They are OK, but don't have the atmosphere of Dm

I do not understand your answer. With my dugeon builder kit, you do not need any programming to make your 3D dugeons. The programme is complet, is free, is available now.
