Making a new Projekt--> Dungeon Master the Gathering

I want to make a massive online role playing game,based on Dungeon Master!
I want to make it on Flash or Java.
Can anyone help me to call the old developer from dm II.
I want use the graphics from this game and question them if i can use the graphics.
Can ANYONE help me?

there was an online one called DM legacy at one time.. I'm not sure if it's multiplayer.. I think he had planned to try that. Also the source to DMjava is out now as well.. along with it's graphics and many additional modified graphics..they are not from DM2.. but you can rip the DM 2 graphics with the ripper found on the encyclopedia.

I have contacted Interplay before and asked them a ton of related questions. --(including if they would be willing to release the source code [just for learning purposes ])-- Their response has always been the same.

Best of luck though. Heck, if enough people bother them about it, maybe they will release it.

I have the feeling, that i could´t extract the graphics, because Interplay says "NO".
I must create my own Graphics.
Or I´m wrong?

There's many threads of the (non-/half-)legality of ripping game code, graphics ... around here, have a look if you want to. On the other hand, if you're enthusiastic about creating a new game, maybe better do that later...

That would be so cool, it would be great to take on PaulH in a dungeon. I wish i could help, but i don't know much about extracting graphics and all that. I really hope it works, great idea!
