Rebecca should be the star of the new custom porn dungeon (after DunGAYn Master is finished). We could also use the barrels from Conflux III.
Anyway, I think it is correct not to allow guest posting (except for questions about registering). The porn spam really got out of hand, so we should all monitor new users and their profiles closely.

And then there's Wuffy's (I think...or was it Trant...umm...) comment about Wuuf lacking the "blow" command around the time we were talking about the cause of the Scary Grin...

Well, it has, no porn mails from spambots getting in users faces. But no, it hasn't stopped the problem completely : ( I suppose one of the registered users could spam later but they seem to prefer to leave just the link. Went througha few days ago and cleared anyone obviously questionsable...left one or two weird user and two music group spams up.

Great, so really, totally disable guest posting, so if poor people like PaulH manage to delete/mess up their accounts, they can't infact post that fact - PaulH luckily had my e-mail address, others might not be as lucky - I dunno how often gambit checks the current hotmail account, and even my most known e-mail gets so much spam that despite my best efforts, i couldn't guarantee seeing it if it got spam filtered for any reason

Yep, that's what I meant, at the moment I don't want to get rid of that, as then people with technical problems will have nowhere to post asking for help if they can't log in. There has been at least two things (mikko and someone else) where they have had problems, and of course can't re-register with their e-mail address as it will reject them!

I suppose putting up a message on the forum's main page somewhere saying "E-mail so-and-so at this address if you have problems" wouldn't work because then that person would receive the spam instead?

Gambit already has that, it's his addres on there. Obvuiously need an alternate address now, but if it's mine then I'm not giving out my personal spam free ones, and the others ones I have don't get checked as regularly, and are spam filled - just pointing out a potential problem and why I'd like forum access for people with problems aswell l: )
