More than 99 logs
CSB complains it cannot create a log if you have more than 99 ...I can't imagine anyone who isn't playtesting Conflux II needing more, so this is more just an imformation announcement I guess : )
I had 99 logs in Conflux II once and had to cancel them all in a log file... now I have about 40 new logs..

99 logs are enough. CSBwin should warn about the 99 logs limit reached, and propose two solutions:
1) Erase them.
2) Crash as before.
Hmm, I meant:
2) Exit as before.
-----
The logs are only useful for playtesting purposes or record/quest competitions. These are the only cases when a dungeon will come with the recording on by default.
For Conflux, I use this information to build a database about the habits of the players (like do they prefer cheese or bread when they're hungry?) and I sell everyhting to commercial sites.

What do you want done? An infinite number
and searching through an infinite number whenever
starting or restarting a game?
You can dertainly delete them. It tells you what
is wrong, does it not?
You could use Splice to combine them into a single
log.
In another thread:
Someone said that saving invalidates the log.
I have not seen this and I save/restart constantly
just to test for this problem. Then I combine the
logs into a single log and replay the game from
the beginning using both the release and debug
versions of the program just for testing purposes.
If these logs are causing you problems perhaps
we need some tutorials as to how they can be used.

In the conflux thread zyx suggested moving the limit to 999
I don't know another dungeon that would ever need the limit, but currently conflux is replying on the auto log thing for bug fixes
Hmm, i think the splice is the issue... i usually am only interested in the small log generated and send that with the csbgame and it doens't work. Hadn't thought to splice from the previous restart.
A smiple tutorial on the logs might be an idea

Well , the simplest thing for you to do is to
always keep the savegame that started the
current sequence of logs. Like when you
load CSBwin and restart from CSBGAME2 then
save to any other file (CSBGAME, CSBGAME3,
or CSBGAME4). Then your log(s) will work from
CSBGAME2. If you save and restart, then you
will have multiple logs which you can splice
together and replay from CSBGAME2. And
you can playback the game starting at any
of the save/restart points.
You can always recreate any of the saved games
after CSBGAME2 by playing the logs beginning
with CSBGAME2 and truncating the playback file
immediately following the save you want to recreate.
Think about it and it will make perfect sense.
