[Not a bug] Strange merchant (DM2)

Post by DragonsLover »

When I try to buy an item at a merchant and that I start to put the coins, the merchant takes what I've put so far and gives me the item. Like, if something costs 1 gold coin, 1 silver coin and 3 copper coins, I started to give 1 gold coin and 1 silver coin, then the merchant takes the 2 coins and give me the item without paying attention for the price (3 copper coins are missing).

I think you just discovered the "Haggling" thing that can be done now. ;)

Yep, this is not a bug, it is working as it is supposed to be, like in original FTL-DM2. It is supposed to represent that you can barter with the merchant for a better price. Sometimes he will, after a moment of consideration, accept a slightly smaller price for the item to be sold.
