Sad to announce the great 27 year old snooker player sadly passed away this evening after a battle with neuroendocrine cancer.

I had to do a double take on this subject -- not knowing your surname, I really feared the worst and didn't quite know what to say...

Anyhow, glad you're still here Mr.H. I confess to not knowing Paul Hunter having not followed snooker for years. It's a tragedy when one so young is snatched away so soon. May he rest in peace.

Oh, bloody hell, yes, same initials! Sorry about that!

But his condition is very similar to one I was diagnosed hence my following of Paul, and the setting up of his support group and website for patients. He did some great work.

I knew him (as a player, not personally) and heard that he had cancer, but I didn't know yet that he passed away... It's really sad that such a young person, with his full life still ahead of him, has to die.
