that`s the point; I installed the game and tried to run tome.exe. I get:
I`m sorry, but this game requires 535K of RAM and 1984K of XMS. Please correct the problem and re-run. If you have plenty of XMS, then you need to free up some XMS handles. Try unloading EMM386, and use HIMEM.SYS only.
I don`t get it at all !

For DOSbox, you need to create a folder which DOSbox uses as its C-drive. In my "My Computer" folder, I made a folder called "Stuff". Then I added the appropriate command (starts with "mount", can't remember the rest but it's on the FAQ ont he DOSbox webby) into the config file so it will mount the Stuff folder as the C-drive every time I load up DOSbox. Then to run stuff in DOSbox, I put the game folder in the "Stuff" folder, and when I load up DOSbox, typing the command "dir/w" will show me the contents of the "Stuff" folder, which from the PoV of DOSbox is the C-drive. Then just run games as I like.
Umm...dunno if I've explained that very well but I can provide more details if you want - I'm not sure exactly what you're stuck on with regards to running DOSbox.

there is a file called dosbox.conf that should be in the same folder as the executable on the start menu (Start -> Programs -> DosBox-0.65 -> dosbox.conf) which should open with notepad.

Scroll to the very bottom, and after the [autoexec] line of the file and type in this command with the path where you have save the tome dir like this:

mount c: c:\tome
c:
tome.exe
exit

save and exit the config file then launch the main dos box program. - have fun!

The exit command will close dosbox for you when you exit the game.
