I started a blog some time ago but can't remember if I posted the link here. It doesn't contain much yet, but will be added to on a semi-regularbasis. If you're remotely interested in anything going on in my life, check it out:

As soon as it loaded up, I thought "Cool". Good job.

I don't know if the vista image should scroll up, as you work your way down the blog?

It did originally, but I decided to fix it in place and use transparency over the top as the text scrolls. Not 100% if it works as sometimes the backgorund is too bright to read the text easily. What do you think?

Style over readability? Maybe I'm the only one that thinks this, and having the image move is actually worse on the eyes.

I love that first glimpse of the site though. The Most important bit.

God, not at all! If you think it's style over readability, then I've definitely cocked up! This thing is text -- it needs to be readable! Maybe I'll darken the images a bit.... hmmm.....

that is a very decent design. ja, I like it

the background photos are nice and give some sense of room or space.
well, I like the scenery pictures best
the colour is matching with the site in general and it is good that you
have some continuity in the pictures, for mostly I look at the same spot
(which is upper righthand corner) that gives emphasis on the texts, which are aligned left.. It equals and yet each side is exiting to watch

But I want to say something about the post's date box in the upper left corner, which get repetitive a bit when there are more than one post each day.

imho,the box is not bad, but a too frequent same date just strikes me as redundant. maybe greying out all but the first would be better? Just my 2cent

I haven't worked out how to group together posts made in the same day so until I do, it'll have to stay like that.

Thanks for the nice comments though. I've just made a bunch more twekas to the sidebar and the way comments look. You can see some comments here to see how it looks.
