After reaching level 3, I decided to abandon the card tossing - I just KNOW I would spend all night on that if I didn't stop right then!

Just thought I'd link a fantastically cool Doctor Who website my dad showed me earlier...
http://sandwich.ukcod.org.uk/~matthew/subtitles/
You can type in any random word and it comes up with every line, in every episode (from "Rose" till "Turn Left", so yes it's kept up to date), in which that word is used. You can also read the full transcript of each episode - scripts are taken from subtitles of the episodes, presumably watched on IPlayer or something. They also have a Wordle image for every episode (using words from the script of the episode, I believe).
Apparently the site was started as a means of investigating suspected word arcs (such as "Bad Wolf" and "Torchwood") in the series or something. But I thought it was bloody cool and some people here may be interested :).

"All too easy" :-)

Here's a series of videos that teach you how to use PhotoShop. Well, not really... very funny indeed, needs a bit of time to watch all of them!

Rofl, I've seen the "Get up" and the "Let me in" ones before but see there's a new one up - "TV Dinner" which I hadn't seen before. They're all great - love Simon's Cat :).

A kind soul has put a classic on youtube most here will remember well from their childhood.

"When The Wind Blows"

part1: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=6EbsrJuAoQo
part2: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=5cOpBGM-0Nc
part3: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=PtVEblvYzk4
part4: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=e1PFEVayxxA
part5: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=6cDox-suQaM
part6: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=drJDwJ0VN4U
part7: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=j8OcC_VfTfY
part8: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=qDVFzpAjGb8

(take your time, this is a full movie - too bad it isn't available in high quality)

From the description:
"A classic little cartoon of hugely disturbing proportions. English 1986 An elderly British couple building a shelter to prepare for an imminent nuclear attack."

This movie had a huge impact on me and my heart made a jump as I discovered it.
If you haven't seen it as a teen, it may be likely you won't find it very intersting.

oh well, off to bed now. Hard day ahead. Take that, 300 hours limit - I'll get you!
I'm sorry I can't get back here often and feel I should be in contact with some people again, answering unanswered pms.

cya!

Wow, this is probably the first and only time my name is cited in a thesis. Too bad it is for an incorrect information (when the thesis was written, my web site indicated that DM had been released in 1986 where in fact it was in 1987).

How did you find this document?
