I downloaded the OSX version and also an rar expander. It seemed to expand OK, but it doesn't run. I got the readme file fine.
I have the app on my desktop. When I click it it tries to work but doesn't do anything.
I played CSB many times years ago for hours on my Amiga and really want to play it again. I like this game a lot, even better than the Dungeon Master games.
Thanks for help

CSB for OSX What am I doing wrong when trying to load?
I assume you downloaded the OSX version of CSB here:
http://dmweb.free.fr/?q=node/851
The problem may be the version of OSX on your Mac. You don't say which version of OSX you are using. If your Mac is less than a year old you are probably running OSX 10.5. To find out for certain select the apple logo from the Finder drop down menu and select "About this Mac".
I have tried the OSX version of CSB and DM on a MacBook running OSX 10.5 and they do not run correctly. It does not seem to draw the graphics correctly and it is not easy to quit the application.
I have tried running the OSX version of CSB and DM on a few Macs running OSX 10.4 with no problems. This is why I think the problem lies with OSX 10.5.
Edit: This problem has already been discussed here:

The problem lies with the new Intel processors, and not the OS version. As I see it you now have two choices.
1) Download CrossOver and play the PC version of Clone-CSBWin. I have tried this and it works OK, however you will be playing the game from within a window. By not playing the game in full-screen I feel it loses some of its atmosphere.
2) Download an Atari ST emulator and play Dungeon Master from Automation CD 97.
The emulator I would use is Nostalgia 1.42 available here:

and Automation CD 97 is available here:
