No more food generated
After long time played at CSB the animals do not give me any more food. When i kill a worm or a rat thy don't give me food.
First i thougt that it was because i haven't eaten every food so i finished all animal's food but it isn't.
Do you know why?

Which version of the game are you using?
Anything close to the original old version of the engine frees up the database by deleting old unused versions of the common items.
Paul allowed CSBwin to expand the database so this didn't happen, and gave you the option to switch.
It could be possible that not using this option in older engines had an unforseen bug of letting the database fill up, so no new common items would be generated.
Or it could be something else too (Since you say you've eaten old food) - but otherwise, it sounds buggy
Oh, the only game engine thing I can think of would be killing creatures in an area where there are invisible teleporters - then there would be no item drops, because the items are getting teleported away.
Where is this happening?

Thank all of you to answer
I use Clone-CSBwin-PC-ChaosStrikesBack-100 ++
and a little cheat, "mini" (i'm using halk)
My spell zo kah tra doesn't work too
I think it was a bug too
I have one chest full of dragon steak , i think it will be sufficient to finish the game
It's very nice from you to prospose to examine the save game paul but it's ok. (but how can i give you the save game?)
Actually i don't mind to finish the game or not i just have pleasure to play with it. And i 'm going to replay it (thank to you super movie!!...)
I'm going to replay csb without any cheat

What is the ++ ?
There was a cheat version of CSBwin, but it was version 4.0++ so would have many bugs and unsupported features.
The 'mini' dungeon has a play test character in it you can use, it's what the CSBwin mechanics use to create the full game, if you make it your default dungeon instead you get the play tested character

Hello beowuuf
i don't know what is the ++ (perhaps for the game informations like the team Xp and the monsters's health...)
Maybe have a look on at Dungeon Master Encyclopaedia
it was "Clone-CSBwin-PC-30++" (Clone-CSBwin-PC-ChaosStrikesBack-100.zip), on :
http://dmweb.free.fr/?q=node/851
Anyway i've mailed i have it to Paul, maybe he could give you more informations about that.
NB : The game says it's CSB for windows version 3.0 but the site says it's CSBwin v10.0version ?

OK. That version 3.0 that you were using
is a creation of DJARCAS. He built that
version many years ago. All of your
savegames are broken. They will not even
load in recent versions of CSBwin.
I never supported that version of CSBwin.
But---I think your problem is easier than that.
Version 3.0 allowed only 1022 objects of a
given type. For example, 1022 miscellaneous
objects like food, keys, and rocks. And the
program always reserves a couple for very
important uses. Your savegame has 1022
miscellaneous objects!!! I think this is over
the limit and dropping a bit of food when a
creature dies is not considered a high enough
priority to use the last couple of possible
objects.
By the way, your directory also contains a
copy of CSBwin version 10.0.
