FRUA / Dungeon Craft

Post by Paul Stevens »

This thread was split from the Automated gamebook mechanics thread. -- Gambit37

In another hat I am helping to develop Dungeon Craft, an update to FRUA - Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures.

Pictures and interactive conversations are two of its strong points. And it is modeled after D&D 1st edition for the most part. And it includes a LOT of easy scripting possibilities. Not like DSAs ;-)

I don't really know what it is you folks are talking about in this thread but the words make me think that DC might be of help.

The FRUA forum:

The DC forum:

There are tons of games for FRUA. Most, but not all,
require some sort of update in the form of a hack.
Those folks did not have the advantage of clones
with added features, so they had to do hex-editing
of the runtime (or something like that).
