So the forum quote of the week doesn't have to be from this forum, apparently.

Thanks for the full post, BW. Great. I mean *great*. Now, even the people HERE have an opportunity to fully understand that I'm completely insane. Brilliant.
Yes, but it has to be about someone from this forum.Sophia wrote:So the forum quote of the week doesn't have to be from this forum, apparently.

Re: Forum Quote of the week
The first rule about someone from this forum: you don't talk about someone from this forum.
The really scary thing is that Beo managed to accumulate almost 2500 posts in less than 1.5 years in that Lone Wolf forum. And I thought you were obnoxi... a busy poster in THIS one.

Re: Forum Quote of the week
Actually, BW was talking about someone from this forum on the other forum from a position of a member of that and not this forum, and moreover, the rules relating to this particular forum do not have to relate to the other forums, even though you are a member of this forum, and of the other forum at the same time. Or something.Trantor wrote:The first rule about someone from this forum: you don't talk about someone from this forum.
In other words, BW is and exception to your rules!

A deliberate euphemism causes alarming mental imagery.
Note, from the D&D story thread, not real life...ian_scho wrote:Charging around without a care in the world with his choppa in his hand.

Ok Paul, I always knew you had a screw loose, as we Germans say, but that is just insane. It started out ok, but now it's just plain silly.

Mine too! Maybe we should start a biking thread here - if you promise not to send more than e.g. 10 posts a day.PaulH wrote:Bikes are my life!

Cool, what do you ride?
I am talking mountain bikes here, not motorised ones!

Re: Forum Quote of the week
I've got two bikes - one mountain and one trekking (well, we might use this term for a slightly different type of bicycles here, but it's basically a combined bike both for countryside and city). I use the mountain bike in Prague and the trekking one for country biking (well, this may sound ridiculous, but most people in Prague use mountain bikes because Prague is extremely bike-un-friendly and the roads and everything is in bad conditions so you have to use a heavy and stable and "robust" thing here). Both my bicycles are relatively old (like 10 years), but I'm trying to keep them in good conditions. I don't want a super-dooper bicycle, mostly because someone would steal it here. If I use an old-looking bike, I can leave it anywhere and I don't have to worry about it.

Hehe, although I know that it's directed at , I would say that it can be directed at me too (except... I rarely spell every word right, but it might happen)!
