Lighting

Post by amaprotu »

I think the lighting fades way too slowly, I did the entire first level on one torch and one lowest level torch spell, and it was still as bright as I could make it.

I agree - the lighting stayed bright for far too long. I let my party sleep for about 5 minutes and it was still only one or two notches below maximum - that would have been pitch black in DM!

Because of the smooth transition, there's also now no obvious correlation between torch/spell power and the amount of light generated. Perhaps the smooth transition should be optional for future versions of RTC, but for a 'true' clone it should use the 6 steps of DM??? Something in the INI file??
