DM Level 7 odd end ?

Post by +Thomas Korte »

I found a secret 2 by 3 square room an a map of DM level 7. It is connected via a secret wall to the upper curve of the left "double tube" when you approach the center section with the staff.
Anyone ever been there? How do I get in?? And what's behind???
Lo and behold, ye Dungeon Master afficionados.
And let this quest be resolved!

Have you finished Dungeon Master?
My suggestion is that you should only use Dmute if you have finished Dungeon Master and don't wanna explore things by yourself.

Maybe I should have made this clearer:

I found the room on a printed map (in Power Play
Magazine Issue 6/88 or so).

I have never edited DM files, since I don´t have
any editors.

What I ask for is how do I get in the room from inside a normal game??

Hi, No, you can't get in the room without cheating, anyway there is nothing to be found.

Some of the empty innaccesible rooms are parts of puzzle mechanisms- the game teleports objects into them when en event is triggered. by keeping track of what is in the room (ie what floor squares are occupied by objects) the game knows when to trigger locked events (door opens/ item appears etc). this seems much more prevalent in csb if u are bored enough ever to study such things.
