it amazes me that the number of people who simple don't get it that they can be traced on the internet. There are hundreds of thousands of free and pay services available to forum and web administrators to track down abuse.
I can find not only your IP but I can track it to your service provider and from there I can track it to your location. It provides me with emails of who to contact for abuse on their network and can alow me also to block that person.
Some people think they are safe if they have a cycling IP. Think they are all together clever. However, this does not assure your secrecy. All of those IPs come from the same provider. Also they can tack to the time and day who was using what IP at what time. This is done for the saftey of people using the net and for the companies providing the services.
This way perverts and punks can not easily side track laws and rules just by adopting a handle/alias, and hopping on the net.
Anyway, that's my little rant. Think about that before you start posting.
