Off Topic: Paradroid & Uridium

Post by andyboy_uk »

Hi guys, Im just curious to see if anyone remembers Uridium & Paradroid from the commodore 64 and Paradroid 90 from the Amiga.

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepage ... rames.html

Above is a little memory jogger for paradroid 90.

Well the story goes, that Jester interactive (www.jesterinteractive.com) has bought the rights to these classic games and were remaking Paradroid for the PC/PS2 etc in 3d, which was looking grand, now they have said on their forums that they aren't developing it for the PS2 any more but it might appear on handheld format (how cool would Paradroid 90 be on the gameboy advance :D)

So I was wondering if you do remember it and would like to see it re-appear on a platform near you, can you help me pester these guys into releasing it :) in a friendly way of course.

Here is a thread on their forums,

Don't forget Uridium 2 from Amiga too, really did the game credit with the lightening fast scrolling.
