As requested (Ok just Andy wanted them) here are some ingame video shot so you can kind of see what Dungeon Maker is like (Sorry about the sizes and qaulity but if anyone know how to do it any better let me know) Dungeon Maker normally runs on my machine at 50 to 60fps.

Bloodwych: This is the map im working on with the old Bloodwych graphics set.

http://www.bloodwych.co.uk/dm/Bloodwych.wmv (Around 13MB)

Test: This is just a little test map to try new objects and stuff

http://www.bloodwych.co.uk/dm/Test.wmv (Around 35MB Higher Res)

Castle: This also is just another test map.

Comments Please as always

It looks very nice. I'm glad there's competition. This way I'll get to write my own game and play someone else's.

Hiya Munky -- yep, I looked at two of them. It's looking very interesting -- the problem is that the quality isn't great, so the stuff I'm really interested in (the interface) can't really be made out...

How are you capturing and making these vids? They seem very large (MB) for the low quality.

uh oh.. here it comes.. run for the hills.. the optimiser will reduce you!!

(J/K) ;)

yeah, I noted that the resampling was not done with any antialiasing so it's all very choppy looking. It's a shame.. also several times where the frame rate causes you to miss action as well.

They are enough to make me curious however,, I don't really think it does more than that for me at the moment.

Ha, I like that - perhaps that should be my new nick. Imagine that deep voice guy who previews the movies:

"It is the near future. A new terror stalks the streets of cyberspace. Huge volumes of data threaten to destroy the fragile backbone of the internet. Only one man has the power to bring order and small file sizes to the masses. Working alone, he travels dark virtual alleys, seeking out excessive databanks and wanton file storage. No image is safe, no streaming video can hide from the squeezing grasp of this shadowy figure. He is a man on a mission to eradicate bloated network space. He is sworn to cleanse the filthy, crowded pipes of corporate LANS. He is currently unemployed, but always smells nice. He is.... THE OPTIMISER!

Yeah, well, maybe not... I only get funny about GIFS and JPEGS...
