Chaos on Ebay?

Post by Ron Humphreys »

I thought that Chaos Strikes Back was really collectible now, but it is selling on Ebay for a fiver. I paid £25 for a copy not long ago, was I robbed?!

Hell, where !? I've been looking for "Chaos Strikes Back" on Ebay for quite a while, but I couldn't find it. I can't find it even now when I'm looking for it. Please post the immediate link.

What do you mean, were you robbed? Did you bid for your copy on ebay and win it at £25, or did you buy it somewhere else?

Ok, accidentally performed a national search the first time I tried. Thanx!

I bought it off a guy I know. That's why I wondered if he'd ripped me off. He said it goes for about £50!

Well, it's Ebay, and there are almost 4 days to go. When these are over, it will be certainly more expensive.

Ron, I think that's a reasonable price to pay if it's in good condition.

Remember, eBay is not a good yardstick of how much something is worth overall, but how much someone is willing to pay. It's an auction site - you bid what you feel is your limit and either win or lose the sale accordingly. I paid a lot of money for a mint copy of CSB from eBay because it was important to me to have it for my DM website. Other people would probably not have paid that much, regardless of how much they like the game.

Thanks a lot for all your replies. My copy is in really good condition so I guess I am happy with it and that is what counts...It is so true though, anything is only worth what you are willing to pay for it!
