Does anyone know of one than can edit the dungeons? If so, tell me. Thanks.

don't think manypeople have seriously tackled the dm2.dat file, so no editor yet, just a character builder
that said, it possibly isn't wildly diffenrt in form to the ooriginal .dat file...
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

When you face a merchant right on the next tile from you, he really looks taller than what you though. And he's a really bad boy, even when I did not annoyed him, he was picking up items to throw them at me!

mmh... I think it is possible to make a level where you can be killed by merchants!

I don't know much about DM2 level format, but I managed to do enough to add/remove walls. It's quite easy with a hex editor (preferrably one that can show graphical representation of the editable area and has freely changable width. Like AXE).

I'd imagine it would be easier for you to just download the hex editor from the net :)

http://www.jbrowse.com/products/axe/

(On that site, in the images section you can see an example of the graphical view which is extremely helpfull for editing DM2 walls :)

As for the editing itself, the level walls are laid out simply. 0 is floor and 20 (IIRC) is wall :) That's as much as I managed to find out.

What does mean (IIRC) ?
By the way, I rather think 00 is wall and 20 is floor. It is like that in DM. Check it.
How many maps have you found?
