Hello,

first the very deep bow before your work - unimaginable for anybody who didn't try it.

Bug in CSBW4.2:
If a member of the party obtained a hit, it is indicated by
a short flash of the red light above its "portrait" and by
a number (the received damage). And there is the bug - this
number has a black background, which is disturbing, whereas
the original has the background red.

quest.

PS. 1)where to download logs (movies) from the "race"?
2)is it allowed to train the champion for the race
in the Prison?

I will look into the backgroud color problem.

-----------

The original movie is on the DM Encyclopaedia

http://dmwebdownload.free.fr/CSBMovie.zip

The other three have not been posted because you are the first
to ask.

Tomorrow I will get the other three posted and tell you where they are.
REMEMBER !!!!!! Each comes with its own version of the executable.
Almost never will it be possible to use a different version than the
one that created the Recording.

-------------------

Very interesting question.
I had not considered training in the Prison. I guess I have to
add a rule. Allowing such training would seem to add additional
opportunites to be clever. Assuming there is only a small amount of food
and water in the prison then there would be no harm.

But then you should have to provide a recording to show
what you did in the prison. And I just tried it and I cannot
make the recording work for the prison.

So for now I guess I will say that training in the prison is forbidden.
That's too bad. If I get a chance I will see if I can make the recording
work in the prison. But even then, it will require two separate recordings.

I have posted the other three 'movies'. You can find them at:

www.geocities.com/stevens_madison

in the binaries area. Filenames are:

CSBMovie2.zip
CSBMovie3.zip
CSBMovie4.zip

Each is about one-half megabyte.

I found the problem with the damage numbers having the
wrong background color. There will be no release for quite
a while unless something more significant gets fixed.
