@Gothmog: Is it possible to place two teleporters at the same place, one inactive and visible (just a "haze") and one invisible and activated by the switch? Just a thought... and not very elegant, I'm afraid...
Finally playing and immensely enjoying the awesome Thimbleweed Park-a-reno!

Jan: Unfortunately no. I got the message: Sorry, you can only place a teleporter in an open cell.
I thought there was one example of this in the original DM, but I don't find any looking through it... Oh well.
Thanx though!

Teleporters are only visible when active.
You can put a teleporter active and visible, that teleports only monsters on the same tile so it's totally useless.
The switch however, targets a DSA that will teleport the party:
LA &TELEPORTPARTY

The A parameter of the DSA must point to the target tile.

Edit: OOOOppps. I see Zyx got here first. Dang!
He gave it all away!

Sorry.....That should say:

"Teleporter is Visible When Active"

A DSA can do what you want rather easily. ;-)

Easy like juggling. Easy when you know how!
