Yeah, I had a go at the other colour ones, and unfortunately / fortunately I can't actually name more than half, so I can't be spending too long on social media and tech then!

I doubt "Sprite Lamp" is a good idea.
This will work good, provided the designer feeds the program with good lighting profiles.
These lighting profiles is a trick to have the designer do in his brain the 3D and lighting work.
IMO it is, in no way helping the designer. He better use 3D and lighting software.
May be good for few one shot art work. No good for real serious work.
What do you think, artist designers ( I am not :( ).

I personally wouldn't use it, especially since you apparently have to pay for it.
But I guess it does fill a niche. :)

a niche some oldschoolers like us can be into :)
i like the idea but the main issue is providing, i.e. penciling, good lighting profiles. i am not a pixel artist but i would love playing a little html5 game with that feature.

A mind-boggling game. http://entanglement.gopherwoodstudios.com/

For math geeks, twisted mind maniacs. I suspect there is group theory inside .
I am looking for help to figure out what strategies to use.

sprite lamp is just normal mapping applied to 2D art, there are a number of tools which do this already.. in fact you can get something similar out of photoshop right now.. it's a neat idea, but not sure how practical it is..

@terkio... Are you Finnish? :)
These students do really well in the tests, and don't study 12 hours a day like the Koreans.

I am not Finnish.
Finland education has a very good reputation and Canada as well.

Scandinavia. I don' t understand Sweden and Norway students far behind Finland.

I am impressed about China Japan Singapore consistent excellent scores.

Thanks to the PICA tests I learned about seals ( In Mathematics Question 14 ) A seal has to breathe even if it is asleep in the water. It dives to the bottom of the sea to sleep for one hour. 8)

Sure, the finns know and care about seals in the Baltic sea.
