Hey guys, I'm somewhat of an old hand as well. Coincidentally, without me realizing, today is the day I finally leveled up to journeyman! And it took a mere 16 years. Now I'm The Journeyman, Journeyman

Free screamer slices for everone! :)

Party in the rat room later? (1st ones to arrive may need to do some preparation)
I'm gonna sleep in the rat room.

Well, feel free to stop by the Discord for real-time chats any time ;). Ah, I remember the old chat room...well, kind of. It was purple.

Congrats Journeyman, on your Journeyman advancement.

thanks, masterwuuf!

bad news on the free screamer slices, though...my supplier just left me with a chest full of rocks instead. He mumbled something about it being wiser to teach my guests how they could kill their own screamers and they'd be set for life.

I wanted to hack him in half, but he was gone faster than I could say mmgonnakillyou :P

Ha. And I surely enjoy the 'fruity' flavor of the occasional screamer slice.

I did make sure to kill the dragon (old Rex, as I call him) with a chunk of Corbomite again, the last time through.
Charred Rex steak. Good eating, to be sure.

nice way to kill a dragon! So..it sounds like maybe I should give this chest full of rocks to you any you kill as much dragons?

That would really help me out, man, thanks! :)

Sounds like a plan! I'll take my trusty sling and go dragon hunting.

We can have some smoked dragon steaks, a loaf of bread and maybe cook up some of those ears of corn in the embers.

Peace? My sister has a not-far-off-two-year-old now and another on the way, I don't think we'll have peaceful Christmases any time soon :D.
But yeah, have a good one, eat lots of chocolate or whatever other fun things :D

Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays, everyone! Glad to hear you have some young people in your family, Ameena - I got to spend quite a bit of time with my own four year-old nephew this Christmas, myself....

Our little one is two and a half. He's very energetic and has been all over the place the last few days, he doesn't know what's going on but loves all the presents and attention. I'm currently writing this sat in the car on the driveway while he naps in the back seat. He's been so tired over Christmas and this is the first time he's napped for days so we're not risking moving him from the car until he's had a good sleep!

A happy new year to all you Dungeon masters :)
What are the bells that never ring? Enchanting smell, beautiful thing.

Hello all! After many years of absence, I've been resurrected.

The last time I posted on here, I was almost due to become a father (my son is now 10yo)... well, having a child and a full time job has left me very little time over the years. The last time I was here I was talking about the 3D engine that I was pouring myself into. Well that engine never came to completion, and as a result I felt that I'd let you all down.

I've lurked on here from time to time, but never posted. Never knowing what to say if the topic of my game engine came up. Truth be told though, I really enjoyed being on these forums and I've missed it... so today I decided to return from the shadow realm.

Woo, hey there, I remember you :D. Didn't you play Haynuus in that DnD game Wuffy ran like, a decade ago? Or were you the paladin guy (Auric, Aurek, something like that) who joined later?

Welcome back Lord Bones! I remember all your interesting RTC experiments. I moved over to DSB, although similarly with a young lad now, I've no time to pursue it.

@Ameena: I was Aurek the Paladin. And I remember that DnD game, it was awesome!
@Gambit: I looked at making dungeons for DSB, but I remember that at the time RTC was easier on the brain. I'll have to look into it if I ever get time.

Thanks for the warm welcome back.

Still tinkering with DM stuff after all those years...
I am preparing a Dungeon Master Nexus Translation Kit so anyone can easily translate the game to any language without requiring any programming/reverse engineering skills. By the way I'd be glad if any native English speaker could review all the translated texts and point out possible improvements for a version 2 (which is also already in the works).

Hi Christophe,

My wife said she would be interested in reviewing the translated texts you are working on, but she wanted to know if you could let us know approximately how much text she would be reviewing. Could you provide an estimate of the volume of translated text you are currently working on?

Few more days until another new year. I hope all are well and that this year has fared well for you. Less covid related deaths was a nice upgrade for sure. Though it's not quite gone, we have been able to go back to something close to normal in some countries.

My daughter, now 12, is taking full advantage of the break. Gaming and reading as much as she can before school restarts. The nintendo Switch is getting more than it's share of use this past week.

Anyway, thought I'd drop in and say hello and wish you all well.
