How do i access the stairs at (03,09,24)?

I'm doing the ros path and i'm on the the bit where you have to close the difficult pit in the ddd.
I know you have to access the stairs at (03,09,24), but the stairs are blocked by a wall and i've no idea how to access them from the other side, i did the ku path first.

Would it have been easier doing neta before ros?

Any ideas?

I think there's a lever somewhere, behind a Fire Elemental or something, that does...erm...something...erm...

The wall opens by a pressurepad in the main DDD area.
You must go upstairs across the pit operated by a monster
on a different pressurepad in the DDD area. Up there you
will encounter some Dogs and another down stairway on the
other side of the ROS pit. Downstairs there is a way to
open the ROS pit.

I went through the stairs that are accessed by making a creature step on the pressure plate, i made my way past the dogs and down the stairs to the northern area of the DDD, but all i have is a pit ahead of me and no stairs to access, there is a wall blocking off the stairs that the map shows in the DDD.

There is a switch to your right. It switches off a teleporter that blocks creatures from steppign on the pad that opens the stairs. As long as there are some demons (and there usually are) walking around, then press the crack switch and wait. The wall will open soon, and you can carry on to the ROS way

I found this. You have to throw something where the teleporter was.
