Incredibly, the last multi posts seem to work, in a fashion!

Paul, you know the rules, stop editing your words! It's messing up *my* edits.

Why did we even bother setting that rule? If you're gonna break *that* one, we might as well not bother doing this. It's fundamental, because someone replying to your post will still make sense, regardless of what *my* edit would be.

Please stop it.

No, I didn't overlook. I refresh at every opportunity, before posting and after posting. I don't think enough people do that which is why it goes weird.

Eh? I don't get what you mean. Which "you" is me and which "you" is you?

One thing I have noticed is that a sentence that 'looks' ok may not look ok to another, due to multi posts. Some people may wait to the 1st person fixes it, another person watching may add another word. Then the 1st edits etc, then the 2nd edits because it looks like 'he' was in the wrong. Maybe if we all drank Beo's vodka and slow up a bit lol!

Not drinking vodka, and refreshing is a good precaution but doesn't change the fact that bad things will happen. I post the instant I refresh, or the instant I see a new word sometimes, and still come second in a post off

And the first edit thing is ...someone will wait for the word to be edited? Never! Plus lets faace it, if like 'afro' the word wraps, onyl the first person will know it is wrong anyway, so the first person edit is stil lthe best way out of this stuff. I have seem double postings where it didn't work, but that will be rare! Be patient Paul, take vodka!

Hmmm, interesting occurence just occured. I tried to start a new sentence, after Beo ended it, but Trant tried to carry it on! Who edits now?

This is where double posting gets tricky - Trant, you wanna delete your 'of' and slot a new word after Paul's?

In cases of weird stuff like this,m I think it just has to be agreed common sinse - if TRants word had ben hysterical I would have nominated us to collaspe the sentence back again : )

Sometimes you gotta edit fast, sometimes you gotta wait - it's the fun of the thread! Usually editing can balls it up much more than leaving it alone for later though : )

I don't think you can delete it. I will have to change my word, or decapitalise it unless Beo can wave his magic wand!

Once somebody has posted after, the option to delete disappears.
