post counts mean very little to me.. you will notice I'm one of the long standing members and people who have been here a 3rd of the time I have, have way more posts than me. :P

I speak if I have something to say.. So if someone has a large post counting.. either they have a lot of something to say or just post nonsense to up their post count. The latter, is less likley to have a lot of friends :P..

the point of that statement? That I have no desire to moderate people wanting to post a lot.. I'd rather encourage people to talk as often as they like :) So long as they don't iritate people..

moo

ps. I've just entered the party.. let's see what I do!

Many times I have considered zeroing my post count...it's too large to be anything but from OT rambling! So, who likes profiteroles?

So what is with the brackets then? They are indeed both illuring yet frightening in the questions they tantalise with yet never quite answer. Dear god I'm starting to sound like the Christmas thread, which was bovine yet incrementally supsect to cheese noodles.

the brackets were because I can't just put "A" .. it has to be more than one letter a post.. :P

"...either they have a lot of something to say or just post nonsense to up their post count."
Or both, in the case of some people...ho hum...

Imagine if post counts went reversed, so you actually reduced them from a given number to 0! You'd have to choose carefully what you wanted to say, and contemplate, then post

Or, of course you could just edit a previous post 100 times even if it made no sense in the conversation!

What difference does that make?

A lot of new posts don't make any sense in the conversation. :P

the limit? You're only allowed to post 20 times.. sorry but you've exceeded your limit.. not Master level for you. Your application was supposed to have been submitted at least 338 posts ago.

I'm kidding :)

I didn't set the limits.. but, there is a list of them in a previous thread in the news section when we first came up with them.

Cow, why did you open speech marks again? They are already open. I deleted the one you put in.

You see, there's the problem. People are simply not paying enough attention to what's going on. The up-to-date story in post one of this thread is there for a reason you know!

Even reading two pages back sometimes the sentence has gone on for much, much longer!

I liked this little paragraph for some reason:
"Well done champions!" proclaimed Grey Hamster Lord, laughing hard at the herbaciousness of many solemn and ridiculously tickled ham Screamers. "Leave me one, I'm gonna get changed," Grey Hamster intoned.
Could you mock us up a ham screamer, Cow?

Now *that* is wayy cool and not something I'd like to see *anywhere* let alone a damp, dark dungeon.

Nice one Mr. C!

Ameena, how can you add a comma after my fullstop on noodles?

I have edited the punctuation on yours and Cow's posts so that they start a new sentence as intended.

Erm...maybe I misread it. I'll read it again. I did kinda send that at umm...well depends which you are talking about. The first one I sent today was at abot 5:30am, the second was at about 10:30am. Either way I haven't had any sleep. I'll catch up on that tonight after I'm done playing Morrowind tilll about 4:30 ;).

Edit - Ahh the full stop was this tiny little semi-invisible speck, no wonder I missed it ;). Oh and I'm not sure if "parmesan" has a capital letter or not so go ahead and change it if it is meant to.

Awwwwwwww, I'm disappointed, a) no one let Hawk be casting 'The Darkness' overboard, and the musical critique went on to troglodytes, then we never got 'Longshanks...Edward Longshanks' in a bond-like way. So many missed opportunities!

Yeah, I agree, many missed opportunities!

I missed the 12th night deadline, so am extending it to 10pm (GMT) on Sunday 8th Jan. Let's try and round this up into something decent!

It's tiny compared to last year's story (well, technically the year before...), since that made it to 111 pages I believe ;).

OK, well it hasn't really got to a satisfactory conclusion yet so I'll leave it running for a while...
