It's Christmas time!

Post by PaulH »

And so it is.

That's all I have at the moment the ability to say. So God bless you, have a great Christmas, and if you do celebrate Christmas, just remember why we do,

I am starting to recover from the intoxication of the weekend! Finished my Christmas shopping just before I posted this thread: I had been to the pub, had 6 pints, ran across the road to the Asda, spent 100 quid (navigating the trolley was fun), dropped it off in my mates car and legged it back to the pub with an hour to last orders! Now thats the way to shop!

Do they have Boxing week there in the UK like they do here in BC? (not sure about all of Canada)

Oh, BTW - a late "Merry Christmas" and a Happy New Year to all...

I think most of canada has boxing week sales.. US too.. other places.. who knows. However, boxing week is only specific retailers here.. and in many cases.. it's only a few small items. I went and there were a handfull of specific DVD's on sale.. ones they might not sell normally.. so really you're getting the deals on things they don't sell often enough. They are also deals they may have through out the year just more spread out.. this item this month.. that item next month etc. Seems to me it's nothing like it used to be when I was younger.. perhaps that's just looking through rose colored glasses though?

I go out each year in hopes of something awesome on sale.. but never find it. :(

I even skipped all the way down to coquitlam to the massive future shop there.. thought that because it's so big and so full of stuff they would have lots of deals..

anyway.. happy moo year.. :)

Yeah, we have boxing day. Otherwise known as 'sleep off the ale and eat the cold turkey' day.
