Knight Concept

your Knight Sophia.. need to do a side back and attack still.. and he needs a sword.

I decided to make him in 3D.. and then paint in fine details over him.. because I worked on my other one for and hour and a bit only to have the computer crash just as I was about to save... so Doing it in 3D this time around would speed up the process of the other views.. :P

anyway.. enjoy[/img]

Looks a bit like Fulgore. Does he get to have glowing blue claws? :P

Wow, that's amazing. Really cool infact. I love the subtle flaming eyes and the floatyness and the colour and, well everything really! Nice work!

actually, I did take a week to get to doing it. but I did all the work in about 5 hours spread over that week. It doesn't take very long to do, it's just finding the time to sit down and work on them. I feel bad it took so long.. and still I want to finish the last position.. maybe tonight.

I could never draw something like that.
Even in a year.
Even in ten.

Well, obviously I'm awed, but I'm also puzzled. Was this monster ever used? And if not, why not? I mean, OK, obviously it's missing two views (back and facing left, since it's chiral) but assuming cows still has the model that should be peanuts to generate in terms of effort compared to what already went into the design and execution. Am I just not playing the right custom dungeons?

I forget why it was needed, but it hasn't been used yet to my knowledge - Sophia is busy with DSB after all! All your suggestions mean she can't get back to normal dungeons just now! :D

the back facing position was done already.. it was for an RTC dungeon she had been working on.. which now is no more..

It was actually because the knight was too good for its own good.

I always went for a sort of "DMish" look in my dungeons:
mostly standard graphics, and the ones that aren't have that
same style. This knight would've looked way out of place.
Every time I mentioned the idea of des-res-ing it,
cows got slightly queasy. So I never did... :)
