26 levels of fighting!?!?!?! Wow! I would get very bored.

Does it have many puzzles?

There is only one thing in this forum that is faster than the phenomenal rate you make these things, Zed. It's the speed at which Zyx updates the List of dungeons thread!

Congratulations at releasing another one (better than most of us) :)

I must not understand these zip files.
I can't seem to run them.

Actually, I think it must be Sophia or Beowuuf who updated it.

You need to use a zip program to unzip the file you downloaded, and then either copy or drag the .RTC file from the zip into your RTC modules folder.

That was what the cough was for - I tend to make sure the list is current if no-one else has :D

The zip file - you pull the files out of the zip file usng Winzip, winrar 7-zip, or even later versions of windows whch natively let you see insde the folder (this might be causing the confusion)

Pull the files and put them in to the Mdules folder of your RTC game folder, and you should be good to go

Yeah, the way MS implemented that was always a bit daft!

Possible problem with zip file:
Probably you not download entire file, i found in Zshare it sometime download half file and end, so try again and be sure it have full size (353Kb)

Already finished playing, testing and everything work ok
There is no puzzles, just combat, dont expect usual DM style, its experimental funny
Maybe enemies should be more tough, beside bloodsucker and terminator its easy thing
I dont made endgame triger, when get outside it mean you win

Impressions :
This dungeon is not 26 levels. It's 26 fights. And it's a fun idea, but not really explored.
Overall:
Too repetitive, nothing really original... though somehow, I enjoyed it and couldn't help but finish it.

Best part: The beginning: I'm MAXIMUS. Nice graphics and starting idea.
I like the "training barrels", even though barrels don't make sense for this purpose.

Worst part: The rest, and especially the character's STAMINA.

Suggestions:
You could have put some twists to fights, like arenas, outdoor combat, and also a real ESCALATION.

Difficulty/Balance:
The only "hard fights" are against the "special mummy", and once you know that you shouldn't get hit by him, it's just about throw, hit, dodge until it dies, which takes awfully long.

IMHO, a good fight is:
- a fight where the opponent hits hard, but not unfairly hard
- a fight where the opponent can keep up with the party speed (usually, it involves a high turning rate)
- a fight where you can't heal yourself
- a fight where the party and the creature roughly have the same hit points vs damage rate.

I won't rate this dungeon, I think it's a stub. Maybe if you make a v2 with twists.

I'll play all of your dungeons though, as it seems the quality improves quite a lot, especially in Crusader and Nightkin.

I also really appreciate the effort, as quite a few dungeon were posted in the last few years.
It helped me get over my "conflux-inferiority-complex".

Cheers !

Yes am agree with that, after finish this project i have some ideas about Gladiator 2 but instead i begin brand new dungeons. Now with new experiences maybe i could return and make part2, especially with new monsters from Nightkin.

At first point should be changed arena, in part 1 it was 26 different but similar levels. Later i found better concept: only one arena (where you come upstairs and no roof there) beneath many cells where you are teleport after combat (teleport to new closed cell and open it from inside and here could be triger generating new monsters)

BTW to make this dungeon i was not inspired by movie but flash game: Swords and Sandals
